The notes feature portraits by 16th century German artist Hans Holbein the younger; a man on the 50 Reichsmark and an Englishwoman on the 100 Reichsmark. Holbein worked in England many years and is perhaps most famous for his portrait of Henry VIII. EACH note catalogs for $300 in Very Good condition. We offer BOTH notes in a higher grade, Fine condition, for MUCH less than that.
